“The only thing worse than being blind, is having sight and no vision” - Helen Keller

Loss of sight is considered a great tragedy in life, yet millions are suffering with PREVENTABLE blindness.   This means their visual impairment can be prevented or treated.  Of the 37 million people who are blind across the globe, over 15 million live in India.
Our vision is to help them. This is where our story begins.

“Anything is possible as long as you have the passion” - Guy Forget

Our passion is to restore lives by restoring vision.
In 2008, we traveled to India for an eye camp in a very remote Himalayan town called Uttrakashi.  We immediately fell in love with this rural area and its people.  Since then we have conducted annual eye camps here and tracked our patients.  We learned with astonishment that while there is a dedicated local ophthalmologist present in the area, his limited resources prevented optimal surgical outcome for the patients.  This is mainly due to lack of equipment, manpower, and education.  We aim to change this!
